Speedskydiving World Cup 2001

The Speedskydiving World Cup is growing! This year will see five events being held around the world. If you are getting bored of just jumping out of an airplane, go there and find out what speed means! After the first World Cup, the rules have stayed the same and are still really hard to understand: GO AS FAST AS YOU CAN! Take a look at the rules for 2001 at www.speedskydiving.net.
 
The first ISST World Cup of Speedskydiving held in the year 2000 determined the first world champions of this fastest non-motorized sport on earth. In 2001, five competitions will be held around the world and all will be counting for the World Cup 2001.

Schedule 2001:
May 24-27 - Lapalisse, France
July 6-8 - Texel, Holland
August 22-25 - Liconshire, UK
September 15-17 - Botten, Switzerland
September 28-30 - Empuriabrava, Spain
October (date TBA) - Toogoolawah, Australia
 
The need for speed and a minimum of 200 jumps is all that's needed to enter the event. PRO-TRACKs will be lent out by the organization for your runs.

Al Zilk Memorial Accuracy Meet
March 5-6, 2001

Join Skydive Snohomish in Snohomish (Washington, USA) May 5-6 for their Grand Opening Event and First Annual "Al Zilk Memorial Meet" where they will honor Al Zilk and his lifelong contributions to the sport, and skydiving and begin a new era of skydiving excellence at Harvey Field. They will be hosting both Classic and Sport Accuracy events, with prize money awarded in each event.

European Cup 2001 Accuracy

The 2001 European Cup in Skydive Accuracy will be held in Austria. Here is the detailed information for the first competition:

Head Of Organization: Obstlt. Karl Kaiser, Hsv Red Bull Salzburg, Austria
Meet Director: Gernot Rittenschober, Austria
Chief Judge: Silvio Di Tecco, Italy
Place: Lochen located 20 km north of Salzburg, Austria,
Date: June 1-3, 2001
Aircraft: Pilatus Porter PC6 (Austrian Air Force)
Entry Fee: ATS 8.800,00 (DEM 1.250,00) per team , ATS 140,00 (DEM 20,00) refund for jumps not made
Teams And Competitors: 5 Competitors per team, all results are committed for individual and team result
Jumps: 8 rounds for each team, minimum 4 rounds
Rules: Sporting Code Section 5 and European-Cup special rules, all 8 results count for the team, max. 30 teams will be accepted by the organizer
Drop Altitude: 1000m, reduction down to 900m possible during rounds due to special condition
Measuring System: WECKBECKERS System provided by the Austrian Aeroclub
Protest Fee: ATS 700,00 (DM 100,00)
